Answers:
I had to go to the hospital because of colitis!. I had to have pain medication an IV and 2 cat scans!. We had insurance that paid 80% once the deductible was met which of course there was 0 toward it!. Altogether it was around $5000 for the everything I had to pay around $1000 out of pocket!. Also my insurance for medicine had a $100 deductible and they gave me 2 different kinds of antibiotics, 1 thing of pain medicine and 1 nausea medication!. It was around $80 only because they took the first one for $65 toward the deductible and the rest were around 4 or 5 a piece!. I couldnt take the antibiotics without the pain medication because I had horrible headaches and felt like I was going to throw up so I took the nasea medicine!. But I still got vilently ill on all these pills!. I stopped taking them and went to a GI dr and h gave me some medicine called xifaxan!. It didnt have any of the side affects like the other antibiotics I was taking!. You will need to go to a GI dr to treat this and that will cost at least $150 and then medicine around $65 and you may need to go back to the GI dr after you have finished the antibiotic!. Good luck with everything and remember if your a woman, antibiotics counteract birth control so be careful (nurse told me she had 2 kids because of that and my friends pregnant from that!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com
