Question: In which do fingers and toes 'prune' more quickly: hot water or cold water!?
We are having a heat wave and I took a cold shower today, my fingers prune much faster than I feel like they normally do!. But I also was in a little bit longer than usually!. Does water temperature affect how fast you prune!? Cold ocean vs!. hot jacuzzi!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
Pruning is really more about seepage of skin salts/water through the outer layer of your skin!.
I believe there would be very very little difference between timing of hot or cold water affecting the salt/hydration balance in your skin!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
