have you ever been taken in an ambulance!? how did you hurt yourself!? what did the paramedics do before and during the ambulance ride!?

I got run over by a train on my job with a railroad company and drug down the track about 200 feet!. I got put in an ambulance and they took me about 75 ft!. to a helicopter that flew me to the hospital!. I lost one leg, and got my back skinned up bad from being drug by my leg down the track so far, and broke the other ankle and a rib, but, I'm still alive, and people still have to tell me to slow down!. I'm not going fast!. I just can't go as slow as they do, and I'm not going to slow down so I can fit their idea of what a "disabled" guy does or doesn't do!. The paramedic put a tourniquet on my amputated "stump", and then helped me on the stretcher and into the ambulance!. The one in the helicopter put me on some IV, but I was too "out of it" to know, or care, what it was!. They were all great!. God Bless you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I have been in one a couple times once when I had a wrecked It felt weird they had me taped down on a back board I couldnt move anything I hated it but they didnt do anything but sit beside me!. and another time I was in one it was basically the same they dont do anything but monitor you!. sit beside you, talk to you, take your pulse, bp, hr along the way!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yes I've been in a Ambulance!. I had a Asthma attack and fell out!. I think I died too cause they had to do CPR!. Well when i notice I was in the ambulance they where just calming my mom down and she was holding my hand I notice it was bright and I had a oxygen piece over my mouth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I was taken to the hospital in an ambulance when I broke my arm!. I was in shock and don't really remember anything, but I'm guessing that they were just monitoring my vital signs and trying to keep my arm immobileWww@Answer-Health@Com
i got alcohol poisoning, and the shocks on ambulances suck and they diddnt do anything but give me an iv!. i wasnt really the one with the alcohol poisoning, i was just really hammered, and they wanted to make $2,000 off my drunk behind!. jerksWww@Answer-Health@Com
yea im a regular on the emergency room express, dislocated shoulder, torn calf, broken arm, they didnt do anything, just the same geeks i went to school with that were in the fire department always checking their scannerWww@Answer-Health@Com
