Why do my wrist hurt when it comes to push-ups?!

Question: Why do my wrist hurt when it comes to push-ups!?
I have been doing push-ups for the past month and starting to gain a bit of strength on my arms!. But now the problem is that whenever I do a push-up, my right wrist starts to hurt!. I have no idea why, whenever I go down and push back up to the original position, it starts to hurt!. Any reasons why is it so!? And how can I avoid the pain!?

Thanks for the answers in advance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi! I had the same problem and I came to realize that I had to put my hands straight and exactly under the chest in order to lift my weight without an angle (the best is 0 angle)!. The problem became little and I've kept using this technique until now!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would recommend seeing a doctor, just to make sure there is no underlying problem!.

Also, check that you are holding yourself correctly with a professional, like a personal trainer or check on the internet!.

You may have bad form but also you may have a weak wrist! You should try doing specific exercises to strengthen your wrists also! You need to have a good strong base for all exercises not just the muscles you are targetting with that one exercise!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Maybe cause ur putting the pressure of ur bodie on ur hands!. And aslo maybe u r not doing them right!? I think u could avoid the pressure by moving ur wrist around like in circles!. That works for me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

not sure but it might have to do with proper form when doing the exerciseWww@Answer-Health@Com
