Question: Steroid injection!?
If the fluid from a steroid injection gets only into the muscle(not the joint), how long does it take to disipates!? Does it do long term and or short term damage to the muscle!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It obviously takes much longer than being given intravenously but it actually depends upon the chemical make-up of the drug itself, it can happen relatively quickly or take hours!. Long-term there shouldn't be any major trauma to the area, unless you're repeatedly injecting the drug into the same area all of the time!. If not, then it's minor trauma, nothing your body cannot handle!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
