Question: Is my thumb broken!?
I thought i just jammed my thumb really bad but its hurting worse now!. It's swollen a lot (big time) and I can't bend it, and i can barely move it and it hurts to move!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

broken fingers and thumbs are tricky as they share symptoms with a bad sprain!. It sounds like you should definitely go to a doctor who may prescribe an xray!. Never ignore a possible break because it can lead to permanent deformity or imobility!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
whatever you do do not I repeat do not allow anyone to try to pull out your jam, chances are if you think it's broken, it probably is and you should see a doctor or a bone doctor for real!.
I saw a bone doctor too late when I chipped bone in my pinky during tipping practice in basketball, coach was all its jammed let me pull it out and I was all woohooo no way! turns out the bone was chipped and now I have a freak slightly bent pinky!. Thumb is much more serious, you may also have hurt tendons!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you can move it just a lil-it's not broken but sprain scan sometimes feel worse they say!.

Jamming your thumb can hurt this much (done it T__T) Ice it to help with swelling and if its still bad go get an x-ray!.!.!. if its broken they can do a thumb cast!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
