Oxcycontin: I heard if you ever take this, no other drug can releive pain?!

Question: Oxcycontin: I heard if you ever take this, no other drug can releive pain!?
Is this true!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
This is false!. Many people have been on Oxcontin for periods and then had their pain issue resolved!. Once they are recovered from the original injury, they can take whichever pain medication they need!.

Many people have been on methadone for pain control, which is signifacntly stronger than Oxycontin, and later can take Tylenol for or Motrin for simple pain issues!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Absolutely not! I was in a car wreck that ripped my left chest muscle off my rib cage and 3/4 of it was surgically removed! I was on oxcycontin, oxycodone, AND Dilaudid!. Its been a couple years and i still have a lot of pain!. I rarely use painkillers anymore, but a 10mg vicodin can do wonders!. A small dilaudid will knock me out, and morphine is too strong also! I was on the oxycontin for 5 months straight along with the other meds and did not have the problems Ive heard concerning those drugs!. Even ibuprofen will help some of my aches and pains!. My whole body has nagging injuries from that wreck (i was passenger) and many things help that arent even narcotics!. Any other answer is a lie!. I have had a lot of misery in my life due to that wreck and i know too well at my age (26) about meds!. Ocycontin isnt near as strong as Dilaudid but some people get addicted!. An addict might say different but I live with pain every day so I know!Www@Answer-Health@Com
