Question: I just stepped on an old tac!! Help please!!!!?
The tac is brown discolored, and has a lil rust on it!. Can I get blood poisoning from it, if so how can I avoid it!?!? Also I'm not up to date with my tetanus (i know!.!.!.stupid move)!.!.but please give me some helpful suggestions!! Thanks to all who answer!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

First off, wash the affected area with soap and warm water!. If it is still bleeding, bleed it out some more (it actually pushes the bacteria OUT form under the skin)!. Second off, since you haven't had a tetnus or dTAP shot in the past 10 yrs, you need to get you butt to a MD or clinic to get one ASAP!.
Beyond that, the sooner the better!. Tetanus is a really nasty disease process!.

Since you are not updated on your tetanus shot I suggest you go and get one ASAP to prevent from getting an infection or illness from this rusty old tac!.It is better to be safe than sorry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
