Keep it clean and sterile!. Apply some neosporin and a bandaid!. Keep an eye it for infection as well as other symptoms of a disease called "cat scratch fever"!. No, I am not referring to a Ted Nugent song, but a real health issue!.

Any injury that draws blood is something to be concerned about!. Esecially by an animal whose probably hasn't had its shots!. Peroxide every few minutes at first is the right way to go!. Bandage it and have it looked at by a health professional!.
If that's not an option for you, just keep it sterilized and chances are there should be nothing to worry about!. But it is always better to be safe than sorry!.
I am a pet groomer, and get bitten and scratched all the time!.

if you treat it with alcohol and peroxide immediately then I guess its not going to be a problem!. But if you feel anything out of the ordinary like tingling sensations or rashes then check with the Doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Make sure that you clean it well!.!.!.there may be dirt of another unsanitary object that was in the cat's claws!. Also, if you get a rash or any symptoms of Rabies, go to the doctor--fast!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
