????????It probably depends on the ink used!. Some inks are more absorbent than others!. I'd say fountain-type pens would be worse than standard ball-point pens -- in terms of the types of inks commonly used in each!. It's always best to avoid bodily contact with (and the vapors of) chemicals, where possible!.
