mine didnt hurt a bit!. i have a low threshhold for pain so i was expecting it to hurt a LOT but it didnt hurt it all- it hurt more when they put the clamps on!. HOWEVER, as i wasnt that responsible when i got it i kinda didnt take care of it as good as i should have and it got infected!. that hurt!. but its been 9 years and i still have it!. ive taken really good care of it and its healed great, looks great and even though im 8 months pregnant the hole is still open!. =) i think you can handle the pain, if indeed you have any!. if anything- its just like getting your ears pierced!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If you are getting a piercing before 18, I will tell you right now not to do so!. The reasoning is because your body has not finished growing and the piercing can grow into your skin!.
A reputable piercer will not pierce someone under 18 without parent consent (in person) and an explanation of any con's!.
Also, you need to use the right grade of metal (what they use for surgery) otherwise you are more at risk to infections!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
