I used to get this all the time back in high school and know what a pain it can be!. The best immediate thing to do is get up and stand on the leg that is cramping!. It might continue to hurt for a few seconds but then goes and stays away for the night!. In order to get rid off this problem all together, I started taking magnesium tablets!. You can buy them in any drugstore or Wal-Mart!. They will take care of your magnesium deficit in a heart beat, which means no more cramps at night!Www@Answer-Health@Com
from what i have read, it could be due to low levels of potassium!. it can't hurt to try increasing those potassium levels, & see if it helps!. bananas, kiwi fruit, or tablet/pill supplements!. and remember to push "heel out" when trying to ease a cramp!.
good luck hope it helps you!Www@Answer-Health@Com
