What kind of help is available for pediatric patients with no insurance?!

Question: What kind of help is available for pediatric patients with no insurance!?
My 2 year old hurt his arm on Friday!. We took him to the ER twice and the last time were told that he probably needs casting, but he needs to see an orthopedist to evaluate his injury and possibly perform an operation!. I have called today to make an appointment for him but have been unable to find a doctor that will help him!. He does have insurance, however none of the orthopedists that I have contacted accept our insurance!. I even called the insurance company to get a list of approved doctors, but apparently there are none!. We have been declined for medicaid!. What, if any, options are available in this situation!? The ER doctor suspects a growth plate fracture and since the growth plate does not appear on xray he cannot positively diagnose it!. My son is in a lot of pain!. He can't fully flex his arm and can't rotate it palm up!. The ER doctor thought it may have been a dislocation and tried twice to manipulate his arm, but since it didn't work he said that apparently was not the problem!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
There are clinics that are free and ones that charge by your income!. You can also call some of the pediatric orthopedics and tell them you dilemma!. Some will let you pay over time when things like this happen!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
