How to get super glue out of cat fur?!
Question: How to get super glue out of cat fur!?
Help! For a few weeks now my kitten has had something on his ear that I thought was a scab!. It hasn't gone away or come off, in fact it won't come off at all!. I recently figured out that he got into something I'd Krazy glued that hadn't completely dried yet!. It's on his ear where the hair is really short, so I can't cut it off!. Should I used a solvent like acetone, or is that too dangerous to use on my kitten!? Specifically this is Krazy glue !.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it is a small kitten I'd skip the acetone!. You might can put some baby oil, wesson oil or whatever cooking oil you have on it (olive oil would be great I think) and see if you can work it out!. If there is a bit of growth of hair in between you can take him to your vet!. They have small shears (similar to a guys breard trimmer) and if you keep those parallel with the skin it should buzz that little section right off!. Avoid scissors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can think you are cutting glue and it be skin! Try the olive oil!Www@Answer-Health@Com
I wouldn't put any product like that on your cat without consulting the vet or a groomer!. Give your vet a call or a local groomer and see what they have to say, it's something simple that can be answered over the phone!.
Have you tried bathing your kitten!? That may loosen up the hardened glue!.

Try burning it off, but do it outside, you wouldn't want your house to catch on fire too!Www@Answer-Health@Com
