Constricted throat, please help!!

Question: Constricted throat, please help!

Thursday night I went to a bar and sat outside with friends while breathing in tons of 2nd hand smoke all night!. The next morning my throat was a little soar!. Now three days later, it feels like im swallowing a brick everytime I swallow!. My throat constricts and it does feel like flem or something hanging off it!.

I just took mucinex, hope that was the right idea!.

Any other suggestions to what this is, or how to cure it!?

you said you were surrounded by smoke, if youre not usually around smoke, it could have just irrated your throat, and caused you to have a sore throay, but i would recommend going to the doctor!. it could be totally unrrelated to the smoke, maybe youre getting ashma or broncitis or strep throat!. Sometimes I get sinus infections from secondhand smoke!. Its your body trying to fight off toxins!. I would see a doctor just to be safe!. Maybe you need some antibiotics or cortisone to stop the inflammation!. Good Luck!.!. feel better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
