Answers:
I would not wear any that have been expired!. Whether the seal has been broken or not!. The contacts are stored in a solution that is made up of certain chemicals!. Over time periods chemical compounds break up and form new compounds!. This could cause you to have a reaction when you put the contact in your eye, but it could not cause one!. Any reaction that could occur, headaches, damage to your eyes, could vary depending on your body and what it could handle!. Some people may not have a problem but some might!.
The fact is that you are sticking something with expired chemicals in your eye and on top of the mucosal lining!.You are touching the chemicals with your fingers too!. You could develop infections, dryness, cloudy contacts, blindness, tear duct problems, etc!.

I wear contacts and I have worn them in my eyes for longer than the term!. Such as a month and a half for month long contacts, but I rinse and clean and keep them out at night!. Protein and bacteria can build up and hurt your eyes when you do this!. However, I would never put contacts that have spent months in a solution that is exp!. I always keep my contacts in solutions that are not exp!. The packages have exp!. dates on them for a reason!. Ultimately it is up to you, but you could have severe issues with wearing them if they have spend that long of a time in the original packaging and it is expired!.

Expiry dates doesn't mean that they will harm you!. It just means that the quality of it will be better if it hasn't passed the expiry date!. So it would be just fine to wear it!. Hope my answer helped!.

You won't damage your eyes but you may add stress with using one day and not the next!. If i were you I would just get a new prescription because corneal abrasions or eye infections can occur and it may cause problems with focus!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
