Why does my wrist hurt? I haven't done any effort.?!

Question: Why does my wrist hurt!? I haven't done any effort!.!?
I'm a breakdancer/ free runner and I exercise!. But lately all I've done is some abs and just a couple of pushups!. So hurting my wrist whilst doing those is highly improbable!.

Having done no effort, my wrist started hurting yesterday!. If I bend the hand downwards, it hurts when I almost reach the end of my possible movement (max bent)!. Yesterday it hurt when I did it upwards as well, but I cracked some joints and the "lower" ache stopped!. I though that I can sleep it off, but it still hurts!.

It's the kind of pain that you get when you sprain your wrist!. Like you can't move it unless feeling the pain!.

Any suggestions on how this pain may have occured or how I could possibly stop it!? I tried the trick where you hold your hand upward!. I held it on my pillow!. It used to help with leg sprains!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
You don't necessarily have to suffer a trauma for a joint to hurt!. Over use can cause just as many problems as an injury!. Your wrist is protesting about the weight being applied to it!. You need to let it rest, no pressure on it at all!. Wear a firm wrist brace to keep your wrist in a neutral alignment and take some ibuprofen to relieve internal inflammation!. Rest is absolutely the best option for recovery however!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
