There are topical anesthetics that are available over the counter!. Menthol is a synthetic compound that causes analgesia (pain relief) and some local anesthesia!. You may also want to look into a medication called Topicaine!. It is a gel that contains lidocaine in varying percentages (4% and some with 5% are available)!. These can be bought online at:
