What is the different between a PN and LPN!? I know one just has a diploma and one has a license but!.!.is the pay different or anything to that extent different!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
There's no difference between them!. A GPN is a graduate practical nurse that has not received their license!. The pay is normally a couple of dollars lower than a LPN!.
A PN is just a practical nurse and LPN is a licensed practical nurse = One in the same!. You can't be a practical nurse without a license, unless your a GPN (that hasn't taken the NCLEX yet)!.
Some people just say PN instead of LPN!. It means the same thing!.
