I keep getting low readings when I have my blood pressure taken at the doctors!. Is this dangerous!? It only seems to be low since I lost weight!.!.!.Im 5ft 4 and did weigh 144lbs, and now weigh 116lbs!. Could this be related!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
yes if it gets around 50/60 you need to get that checked and it could be low blood sugar that might lead to debetes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your weight at 116 lbs is OK and is unlikely to be a cause!.

Low BP is supposed to be even more dangerous than high BP and your occasional fainting spells suggest low BP!. Dehydration and under eating can also cause fainting and light headedness!. Most people don't drink enough water!.

Low BP normally means below 90/60 and high BP normally means over 140/90!.

If your BP is below 90/60 in most cases you need treatment!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Low blood pressure can be dangerous, but if yours was too low don't you think your doctor would have told you!? You should be asking your doctor!. Don't you know what your going into the hospital for!? Significent, sudden, and unexplained weight loss could be a sign of something really serious, and the low BP could be a symptom of that!. Yoo should ask your doctor ASAP!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, it can be dangerous!. You really don't want to faint on a train platform, or while stepping off a curb, do you!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
