bruised nerve on hand?!
Question: Bruised nerve on hand?
I hit my wrist on the corner of my bike handlebars and my hand instantly went numb, it felt like i had pins and needles, whenever i touched it it felt like an electric shock going through my hand. I went to the doctors and she told me i had a bruised nerve and it would heal within 6 weeks. It's been 2 years since then and i still get the same feeling if i tap the affected area less severe. Is it worth going back to the doctors, could it get worse if it knock it again? Cheers
Answers:
I had damaged nerves on my finger tips from nervously breaking split ends.
You wouldn't think that would be as bad as a traumatic injury but it took about five years to heal.
nerves can heal, but they need good blood supply. you can increase circulation and reduce pain immediately by applying topically some good "spa" clay or "living" clay to the affected area. you can also take some holistic vitamin "C" by drinking raspberry leaf and rosehip tea. if the leaves are gray, not green they are not as potent and you will just need to drink more of it to have the same effect.
You bruised nerve on hand.
