Question: Is this cause for concern?
I thought this was normal but I suppose it is not. I got tapped in the head lightly today by accident. I had a severe migraine for the next hour and everything went black for about 2 seconds. I have noticed if someone taps me in the head playfully I do completely lose my sight but its only for a few seconds. I have had head injury's in my past but they have been years ago. I do have an appt with a neurologist to get a spinal tap and I am wondering if this might have to do with fluid in my brain? I didn't think to bring this up the last time I saw her, has anyone else experienced this?

This exact thing happens to me too. Its been happening for a few years now, and I've basically gotten used to it. Your description fits it perfectly. Everything goes black for a few seconds, but then it comes back. Weird. I notice that it happens when I get up from laying down for a long time, and not being hit on the head, but either way, we still share the same "problem."
