Is it normal to feel dizzy after giving blood?
Tried to give blood platelets today - but my vein flattened and they had to stop the procedure. I started to feel dizzy and lightheaded then - and have been feeling that way all day, especially with any exertion (e.g., climbing stairs.) It is normal to be this tired and lightheaded? I've given blood before and this never happened.
