Sharp pains when i breath in deeply?!

Question: Sharp pains when i breath in deeply?
Hi for the last 3-4 days i have been getting sharp pains on the left hand side when i breath in and have been waking up throughout the nights with pain to the upper back/neck. Ill be the first to admit i drink quite alot of alchohol (i dont smoke) but only once a week (2 maximum)

The problem is i cant get time to go to the doctors throughout the day, Do you think this is something that i should possibly goto the NHS about?

Improve your fitness.
You are likely to just not be getting enough exercise .

You MAY have a heart murmur, where an artery connecting to your heart are a bit too narrow. Sharp pains normally happen, but there's nothing to worry about. You just need to get an x-ray done to show what happened, and if it is a heart murmur, you'd need to get an echocardiogram which is like an ultrasound that shows the beat of your heart.

I have heart murmur :o

I recently had a similar problem, but my pain extended to my shoulder. Doctors said it was inflammation in my stomach due to diet, booze, etc. Gave me pain killers and omeprazole to sort my stomach.

Pain now gone.

More than likely you have developed an air pocket. Go get it checked out.

A) Could go away on its own.

B) Could branch from a more serious problem like a tear somewhere internally.
