Is there a reason my tailbone hurts after I do sit-ups?!
Question:
Is there a reason my tailbone hurts after I do sit-ups?
Well, I'm 16. I'm overweight, but not morbidly obese, I can still function correctly. Anyways, I've been working out since its summer and I want to lose this extra baggage. I've been doing 50 sit-ups a day, possibly more if I have nothing to do. And recently my tail bone has began to hurt. I'm assuming its because I'm either doing hem wrong or its because I'm a big guy. I either have to endure the pain or not do them, which is not going to happen. Is there a reason behind my tail bone hurting, can I fix it? Normally when I wake in the morning its fine and I can do my daily sit-ups. Please help.

Try getting one those pads that are used for exercising. You could probably pick one up at any sporting goods store. If you can't do that then exercise on carpeting instead of hard floors. That may help.
