Crippling stiffness after physio?!

Question:

Crippling stiffness after physio?

I dislocated my knee a year ago.
I've just started therapy again in April as my knee would dislocate again.
I've been mainly strengthening the quads etc.
After physio I'm so stiff that I'd be unable to walk, and this would last for about three days.
Is this usual to happen? And what can I do to help prevent the stiffness?

Answers:

While some stiffness or pain is normal after therapy you should not be in so much pain that you are unable to walk. I would recommend that you bring this up with your therapist and see what the two of you can come to an agreement on about the intensity of your therapy.
