Question: I am having my gallbladder out Monday, will I be able to play catcher?
I have softball practice the following Sunday, will I be able to play catcher?

Answers:

The short answer to your question is NO! No way will any reputable Dr. give you the OK to play catcher or any other position that soon unless MAYBE it's like a base coach or something like that that is not real active. I se no reason why you cannot suit up and sit on the bench but no athletic activity I an 99.9999% certain.
I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news but you need time to heal.

doubt it. I had my gallbladder removed last year, they give you about 2 weeks off from regular activity, so no you probably will be to sore to play.
