while fast running, brisk walking, excessive exercises, we start breathing anaerobically. so glucose in the absence of oxygen, is converted to lactic acid and energy. the accumulation of lactic acids causes muscle cramps.



Doctors think that cramps are caused by prostaglandin, a chemical that causes the muscles of the uterus to contract.

Some causes of back ache and cramps are Dysmenorrhea, Opioid withdrawal and Urinary tract infections
