carpal tunnel symptoms?!
Question: Carpal tunnel symptoms?
thanks.
Answers:
Doctors will prescribe rest, splints, ergonomics, corticosteroid shots, anti-inflammatories, and physical therapy. When those fail, surgery is the next option.
1. You can Ice Dip as described here: http://www.TendonitisExpert.com/how-to-reduce-inflammation.html
This will decrease inflammation and pain and should reduce any numbness/tingling.
2. You can do specific self massage. Squeeze the sponge of your forearm, and put some stretch on the skin around the wrist. This will soften tissue and reduce compression.
3. If those two options don't reduce Carpal Tunnel Symptoms, then your symptoms are coming from compression of the nerve up at the front of the neck/chest/shoulder.
Wear a wrist splint. I used to put Biofreeze on my wrist, cut the top off an old sock and put that over it, and then put the wrist splint on. It helped some, but eventually I just had the surgery and got rid of it all together.
