I'm fifteen years old going on sixteen on august sixteenth. I weigh 150 and I'm 5'5. I just started to go to the workout gym......I rode my bike there (1.63 miles)....and i worked out on a cardio machine for 30 mins (plus 5 mins cooldown).....i also did about every weight lifting machine......and i never felt like i overdid it....the next morning i felt so soar...it felt like every muscle in my body hurt......now 2 days later it still hurts....what should i do? go back to the gym and let my body get used to it?


Answers:

It sounds like you're doing too much too soon. Its better to alternate between weights and not do everything at once. Try doing cardio every other day at first, and switch up the weights by doing your top muscles one day, and your lower muscles the other day. This gives your body time to recover from the workout and will make you stronger than if you just do everything every single day. Also, if you're going to do weights on the same day that you do cardio, do the weights first and then cardio.
