2nd Degree Burn, Blister Removed. Please help!?!

Question:

2nd Degree Burn, Blister Removed. Please help!?

I have a 2nd degree burn from the result of a BBQ accident. It blistered and then was ripped off. It is now raw skin. How should this be treated to avoid infection and heal quickly? Thanks.

Answers:

Neosporin and a bandage... but be sure to let it breathe once in a while. Eventually, it's going to scab. You'll be OK. I burned myself several times when we moved into our new house with a fireplace last winter, and I'm fine now.
