If you leave a small hand fracture.?!
Question:
If you leave a small hand fracture.?
if you leave a small hand fracture, what are the complications that can occur.
Answers:
The surrounding tissue can die. For example a fractured scaphoid (bone in your hand) doesn't always show up on initial x-rays, however leaving this can effect blood flow to the hand which in turn leads to what is known as necrosis. The majority of fractures should be immobilised to enable the bone to heal in the correct fashion (or has someone has crudely put it "knit together"), which is why x-rays are essential.
