Different people get Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS) for different reasons, here are some things to try:
Try one of the following: Folic Acid, Iron, Potassium, Apple Cider Vinegar, Magnesium, B6, B12, Folate, Vitamin E, orange juice, Gatorade, apirin, Tonic water, Ovaltine, Calcium
These are a few things that I have found make it worse:
- Being very tired
- Drinking milk
- Drinking soda pop
- Some pain medications such as tylenol
- aspartame (Nutrasweet, Equal)
Some things that help:
- Doing some leg exercises (squats) before I get in bed
- Taking vitamins
- Drinking lots of water.
- Massage legs (esp. with apple cider vinegar)
Magnesium seems to work best for me
