Question:
My finger hurts?
Kay, well..it doesnt hurt to move it, and it doesnt hurt to write. Just sometimes when I like pick something up (But not all the time,) it kinda gets a pain.
Could it be a growing pain?

It sounds like a pinched nerve, happens often in sports when you hold things, like bats, hockey sticks, tennis rackets etc etc. I get it on the outside of my thumb all the time.
Its annoying but not dangerous, I would ignore it unless it causes you to limit your movement, becomes more pain full than a 3-4 on a 10 scale, or if it becomes increasingly constant. If you do go to a Dr. the normal cure is physical therapy and stretches, and maybe something for inflammation.
