I have been diagnosed with sciatic nerve problems. What can I do to prevent futu!

Question:

I have been diagnosed with sciatic nerve problems. What can I do to prevent future problems? Or home remedies?

Answers:

First I have to ask did your family doctor diagnose you with a herniated disk or tell you why you have sciatica? Ruptured disks can pinch the nerve that runs through the spine, causing sciatica. I've lived with this since 1997 and went through a battery of tests, surgeries, injections, physical Therapy, Chiropractic appointments. The solution that has helped me tremendously has been eating better, loosing weight, strengthening my core (abdominal muscles). The pain and tingling in my legs have disappeared. All the other methods prescribed to me were only temporary reliefs, the choice to exercise and eat better have proved to be my best results for a pain free life.

Recently on Cable there was a program about a doctor who has professed that this regiment has proved to be the best way for most, I say most people to relieve themselves of this problem. That is not to say others may need more drastic measures, but major surgery should be a last resort. Good luck and hope my solution to my problem may be the one that works for you.

A link I did find that backs up this theory is provided for you.
