Joint injury from bodybuilding?!

Question:

Joint injury from bodybuilding?

i am a 21 yr old guy with ectomorph body. I have been following anthony ellis routine for a few months now. but lately i am having this symptom. all of my joints (elbow, knee, crotch and now my spine) make this wierd "clicking" sound often when i move them. is this because of lifting very heavy weights (weights i am capable of doing 2/4 reps of powerlifting)? do you guys have problems like this? what should i do now? consult a physician? change my workout pattern? i am getting very worried over this. Guys please respond. give me a solution.

Answers:

You will always have joint pain after constant power lifting. When I lifted for power, my elbow joints used to kill me all the time. Not much you can do but tone it down a bit...just enough time to rest your joints up. Or switch up heavy days with light workouts. If you have pain in your crotch, you might have pulled a groin from straining. You have to remember not to hold your breath when lifting. I used to do that alot. A few times, it felt like I had a hernia. Just take it easy for a few days and lift very light weight.
