I think i'm alergic to the solution my contacts come in?!


Question:

I think i'm alergic to the solution my contacts come in?

what should i do? if i put my regular solution on the contacts and soak them overnight then they are fine but it is really annoying... what should i do?

it takes soaking the contacts over night before i my eyes can take the solution... if i just rinse the contacts for 5 minutes then my eyes burn for a long time

I've seen several patients with this problem as well...just open your contacts up and rinse them off good with your own solution before putting them in...

As annoying as it may be...which is more annoying? Having your eyes burn from the saline that they are packed in? Or taking a few extra minutes to rinse them off good or soak them in your own solution before you put them in?
