I'm near sighted and when i put on sunglasses, my vision is even worst than when!

I'm near sighted and when i put on sunglasses, my vision is even worst than when i'm not wearing my glassses

I know that i can have prescription sunglasses and all but is it possible for me to just wear normal sunglasses that i buy from stores?

Generally short sighted people become more short sighted at night. A similar effect occurs when you wear shades. This is because less light reaches the retina.

The only way myopes (short sighted people) can wear non-prescription sunglasses is to wear contact lenses at the same time.
