I have had glasses or contacts since I was eight. I am DESPERATE for laser eye surgery, but financially a little broke. I don't want to go in debt. What's a reasonable price quote for two eyes in the CT area? naturally someplace where I'll survive the surgery ;-)

Generally, and nationwide, the average price for LASIK is around $2000 per eye. There are plenty of practices that advertise $299 per eye, but beware the bait and switch scheme. The $299 price is for a very basic Rx. If you require treatment for astigmatism, the price goes up. If your Rx is anything but the basic, the price goes up.
