Question:
Is it okay to wear contact lenses? My eye has broken some capillaries...?
the white of globe is red. No hx of high blood pressure; but I do have a headache. I was just wondering about using the contacts or should I just forego using'em... Appreciate any and all comments.

It's been a few days since I last wore the contacts, and when I do it's only for a few hours.
When the capillaries burst, there was external bleeding but no pain, and the bleeding has stopped. Now I just can't get rid of the headache... I don't think this is urgernt, is it???

There is no direct cause such as trauma or blunt force; the critter just popped.
Answers:
The capillaries could be in response to some outside factor - like an allergic response, or if you wear contact lenses a LOT (more than 10 hours a day, every day, or especially if you sleep in them [even the gas-permeable ones]), you could be suffering from Oxygen Deprivation. Capillaries will grow in your eyes in order to feed oxygen to them. This can lead to permanent lens intolerance, not to mention other potential problems.
You should see an opthamologist to be safe. Never take the health of your eyes for granted. Sometimes the simplest complications can lead to blindness.
