What to use to get crazy glue off plastic frames??

I have a pair of glasses with plastic frames. I broke them a while back and tried to crazy glue them back together. Well, it didn't work, and there is glue residue on the frames. What do I use to get the glue off the frames, that won't eat away at the plastic itself?? Nail polish remover didn't work.

I tried the nail polish remover, and I think it started to eat away at the plastic. It left it dull and some kind of film on it, maybe it was just a thin layer of glue, not actually eating away at the frames themselves. Not sure. I have & tired some goo be gone too. That didn't do such a hot job either.
I tried some of that Gojo ?? hand cleaner. It didn't get the glue off, but it did clean them up pretty well! The normal stuff that gets on glasses. (dirt, makeup etc.)

I'm going to try to carefully sand it off, or scrape it off. I don't want to compromise the frames so they don't fit back together like they should. I have some orange degreaser... maybe I'll give that a shot! Thank you for the answers.

I just used a razor blade to scrape the residue & excess glue off. I guess the acetone didn't actually eat the platic, it just looked like it.
These frames were expensive (aren't they all) and I'm not looking to replace them since I have glasses (and contacts). I just really liked them. They were a second pair from a few years ago, kind of funky, not my everyday ones, and I came across them and was going to give fixing them a try.
Any who, my bf came to the rescue, cleaned them up with a razor and a dremel tool, drilled two holes (they were broken on the bridge) put a tiny piece of metal in, with some apoxy, and put them together.
I know it sounds stupid, like, just get new glasses but they actually turned out pretty well, they look good as new. I only wear (wore) them once in a while.
So I guess, to get glue off, you scrape it off, maybe sand it off. And the gojo hand cleaner worked great for getting all the dirt, makeup, pollen, what have you, off!! thank you again for the help

Straight acetone is what I use to remove superglue from lenses...unfortuneately, it will dissolve a plastic frame.

Please leave frame repairs to the professionals. Trained opticians will be honest with you if your frames can be fixed or not.
