I have a lazy eye. Whats the treatment to fix it? what are the steps?!

Answers: tell me the main steps please

Long story short. You can't cure lazy eye on your own.

Optometrists use a therapeutic process in which they put an eye patch over your good eye so that the defective eye is forced to focus properly. This is done in low quantities of time at first; it is basically exercising the eye muscles. However, the older you get (read past 9 years of age) the problem is harder to fix through this process, and after this age you may need an ophthalmologist to get the eye muscle surgically fixed. This won't fix it completely, either. Again they do the eye patch therapy until they feel satisfied, and results simply vary from person to person.

the best thing for lazy eyes are wearing eye patches on the good eye so that the muscle at the back of your lazy eye can strengthen more.my son is only 22 months old and was diagnosed with glaucoma when he was 5 months old. since then he has had 17 eye operation altogether and theres alot more to come for the rest of his life. and also he has developed a lazy eye in one of his eyes since all the surgery he has had done and alot of eye drops everyday. but like i said eye patches are the best for lazy eyes, good luck
