You really need to go to the eye doctor. He will need to measure your eyes, and see whether you do or don't need any vision correction in either or both eyes. Your pupils need to be measured to ensure that the contacts fit you well (pupils do come in different sizes!) With colored contacts, if the contact is too big or too small, it won't cover your natural eye color correctly, causing it too look very fake. And with any contacts, wearing the wrong size can cause any number of problems, including eye infections!
The eye doctor will write you a prescription for the lenses, even if you don't need vision correction. Places that sell contacts without requiring a prescription are doing so illegally. Those contacts may not even be safe. It's so worth it to spend the money for an eye exam, and do things the safe way. My eye exam with contact lens fitting was only $91 at a Wal Mart Vision Center. And I was able to try out as many colors as I liked, so that I could see which ones were best for me before ordering a bunch of colors and not liking them. Once you've opened a box of contacts, they're yours, whether you like the color or not. Opened boxes cannot be returned.
