My eye has a red dot on it. i don't think it's pink eye. any thoughts???!
Question: I would assume it's a burst blood vessel, but it could be more serious. If in a week it doesn't look any better, consult a local optometrist, your vision is a serious thing to take chances with. Hope this helps

It's probably a burst blood vessel. It'll heal.
If you have been stressed or straining lately, it could be a busted blood vessel. That will eventually go away over time. If you don't have any extra crust build up, yea, it's not pink eye.
you arent looking at a photo of yourself by any chance are you?
Could be something else but I would also say a bursted blood vessel, if you have sneezed or coughed pretty hard that could have done it but I agree if it doesnt go away in a few days go get it checked
