My contact lens ran out. Do i need to get a new prescription?!

Regardless of whether your prescription has changed or not, contact lens prescriptions expire 1 year after your fitting date. It is true that you are entitled to your contact lens prescription thru the law, but if it is EXPIRED, you will not be able to get it because it is not valid. I am sorry, but you will need a new fit in order to get another supply of contact lenses.

It depends where u live, but a prescription last 2 years. U can ask to get a copy of ur rx and by law they have to give it to u.

Your prescription for contact lenses expires after one year. The script is valid for glasses for two years.
