Can sunglasses ruin your eyesight, if they don't have the correct uv protect!
Question: well because the darkness of the lenses causes your pupils to get larger, this allows more ultra violet light to get into your eyes potentially damaging them...
most sunglasses are made in such a way that sunlight deflects off of them at the correct angle as well as a good material is also used making them safer as well. These two factors reduce the damage to your eyes
As long as you don't buy some cheap sunglasses that don't say "UV PROTECTION" on them, then your OK...
Sunglasses are really important though so don't go cheap with them, my sunglasses are 400 dollars, are polarized and have 7 filters (NON-perscription glasses mind you)
I've had them for 3 years and they are awesome
good luck!
