Why do I see small black hair pieces in front of my eyes?!

Question: Obviously, they are not there, but sometimes I see these small black hair pieces in front of my eyes, like you'd see a small flash or something. I don't know what it is about, is it some eye condition? What do you think?

they are called floaters take a look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/floater

Those small black hair pieces are possibly your lower eye lashes that curve slightly upwards. Its not any eye condition.

y0uor eye lashes
i get that sometimes when i look round then i see the tip of ,my eye lashes

I get them, I notice I get them more when Im tired and have been rubbing my eyes. I think they are both scratches on the eyeball (some Ive had since I was a child and they never chance shape) and tiny specks of dust sitting on your eyeball much like a contact lens.

Do you either have migraines or high/low blood pressure? I get this sort of thing for a day before I have a migraine attack. I think also it can be related to blood pressure - have you had yours measured lately - if not it may be worth getting it checked.

They are called floaters. I have had them since my teens. They kind of come and go, but at 50, they are more prevalent and bothersome.

Yes, they are floaters. You should be sure to have an eye exam every year to check on them. I've had floaters for many years. They are annoying, but you can learn to live with them.

Are you giving a BJ when you see them?
