Dry Eyes...?!

Question: The past few days my eyes have been very dry. I wear contacts and I use drops but even when using the drops it does not work for that long. I also feel as if I cant see as clear in my contacts anymore. I even put a new pair of contacts in just in case and its the same symptoms. Any idea what I can do to fix this?

Im also a diabetic but I dont think it has anything to do with that because I just went to my eye doctor 2 months ago and had no sugar in my eyes.

maybe you should switch eye drops... my dad used to use tears naturale.. it worked great for him.

here you go.

I had the same problem, but i discovered i was burning too many candles in my room, and that caused the dry eyes.

A lot of dry eyes stems from computer use, believe it or not.
I have had this same issue and I now use Natural tears gel formula before bed to make my eyes lubricated naturally.
It makes the world a difference!

Dry Eye Syndrome is very popular in women due our hormones and birth control causes dryness also. Wearing contacts and have dry eyes really is impossible. You are probably not having clear and crisp vision due to the dryness. Try using Systane, Refresh or Soothe perservative free tears up to 6x daily even if your eyes dont feel dry. Its like using chapstick you need if you live an a dry climate enviroment. Another treatment is Bio Tears which is taken by mouth which helps lubricate every part of your body good for joints too! If that doesnt help talk to your ophthalmologist about plugging your tear ducts to keep more tears in instead of running out. Good luck! trust me i have the same problem. I cant keep my contacts for more then 3 hours before they start to bother me. I've limited to using only on weekends.

If your eyes are particularly uncomfortable, I'd suggest removing your contacts. Find a nice lubricant night/PM oil, not drop, for your eyes- it'll give you blurry vision for five minutes, but it also gives you really good relief. Don't wear it with contacts, though.
