Aaaack, no superglue, please!.

We opticians have nightmares about superglue!.

There are ways to temporarily patch them up, but if you're blind, then duct tape or electrician's tape is the best way to go!.

And hopefully, you got them somewhere that offers a warranty!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The big piece of white tape has always been a fashion favorite of mine!. lol I really don't know maybe, superglue!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you cant reallyWww@Answer-Health@Com

Don't super glue them it will make it worse!. Contact your glasses provider right awayWww@Answer-Health@Com

tape works the best!. trim it down into a small narrow stripe then tape your two halfs together!. tape it nice and tight, or it'll fall out againWww@Answer-Health@Com

Super glue does not work!. I have tried to super glue glasses iln front of my patients for 27 years just to prove to them it won't work and that I am not just bullsnorking them!. You need new glasses!. Sorry hon!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The only way I have ever been able to fix plastic frames broken at the bridge was to drill a small hole in each side, glue one end of a screw, stick it on the hole and then glue the other side of the screw, and put that end in the other hole!. Worked pretty good, but was temporary!. All superglue is good for is gluing your finger to whatever you want to fix!. the plastic is too porous and the glue is absorbed!. Sadly, tape is your best bet for the temporary fix!. Be careful with the glue though, like the other person said, if they are under warranty that may void it if it is all messed up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If they are plastic frames you may be able to soak the broken area on both sides in acetone for a couple of hours and then stick them back together!. The join will be quite visible however and you will void any warranty that is on the frame!. After sticking back together leave to 'dry' for 24 hours before using!.
Really though you are much better off getting a new frame!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
