I found it a little hard to gep to grips with touching my eye, but now ive mastered it, I wouldnt go back for anything!

You can dailies, monthlies and continuous wear ones (which i think you leave in all the time and change once a month)!.!.

If you have dailies you throw them away at the end of the day, if you have monthlies, you put them in this little solution over night and they're ready to use in the morning again!.

I did have my contact slip up under my eyelid once, it wasnt painful, more a little unconfortable and annoying cos i could only see out of one eye! The optician just used something to find it - she lifted up my eyelid so she could see it - and rubbed my eyelid til it came back round! easy!. and thats the worse it can get (as long as you clean them properly of course), but i think it was my fault cos i was rushing a tad!

I way prefer contacts cos you can see everything around you as they move with your eye, you dont have to move your head as much, does that make sense!? cos with glasses, i find i cant see out of the corner of my eye!.!.which is a pain sometimes!. for example, i find them easier to drive in, but i dont know if other people find this!.!.

I have better vision in my contacts too, i dont quite understand why tho :)

Why not try it!? It cant hurt!.!.just take your time when you put them in, and remember that you never actually touch your eye with your finger cos the lense is in the way (that was my mental block lol!)!. If you can't do it the first time, just keep trying and you'll get it eventually; according to my optician, those who have to take load of attempts when they first put in contacts, become better wearers cos they appreciate it more :D And if you decide you dont like it, you can always go ack to glasses :D

Btw, you cant feel them when they're in your eye, they're a tad cold at first, but then they just 'settle' and are fine!

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hey there!
I'm 16 years old and i have contacts!. I love mine!!! I would highly reccommend getting acuvue advance, that's the kind i have!. In my opinion, you can see soooo much better with contacts than with glasses!. It may take a little practice to learn hoe to take them in and out, but they will have someone at the eye doctor's help you out!. It's really not difficult though, i learned in about a day!. And no, you cant feeln them at all! That's the beauty of them!. And don't be afraid your contacts will go to the back of your eyes!. I have been wearing mine for almost three years, and this has never happened to me!. The amount of time you can wear a pair of contacts depends on which kind oyu get!. You are supposed to wear a fresh pair of Acuvue Advance about every 2 weeks!.

Good luck and im sure you will love your contacts!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You're getting some good answers here but I'd like to add this!. The place that you get the contacts from will/should give you a lesson on how to remove and replace them to make it easier!. I love mine!. Love, love, love!. The optician should give you the best prescription for your eyes (are they dry, flat corneas, astigmatism, etc) and then you work together on free trial contacts they give you to see what works and what doesn't!. The good opticians want your input on how that trial pair worked for you!. Do you see clearly, does the lens stay in place, how do they feel, do they make your eyes dry, etc!. The not so good ones just give you a free trial pair and don't tell you to check back with them on how they are working for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i prefer glasses!. easier to manage!. you dont have to carry around the casing in case you need to take it off!. i tried contacts when i was 16 but stop wearing it after a few months!. but thats just me! a lot of my friends feel comfortable wearing contacts though!.!.

i dont like touching my eyeballs anyway!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
